(This client had on-staff certified meeting planners and their major event was a Cotillion. This was the start of the process, which eventually evolved into approximately 200 centerpieces, plus six large urn floral arrangements on Greek columns, numerous greenery plants and two floral decorated arbors at the entrances to the ballroom.) The photographs below were selected especially for Creative Memories to show previous event florals which may fit the theme in style or color and to help advance the selection process. Creative samples can be provided upon selection of a direction for The Cotillion theme. |

These are our Crystal Towers which come in four different heights -- 12, 18, 24 and 30 inches -- enabling alternating heights on tables, and a choice of a vertical or cascading design. Treatments also include mirrors or a floral ring at the base or a scattering of petals with votives. Flower colors could be chosen to match the lavender highlights of the table setting, if desired. The towers and mirrors are rental only. Crystal Tower arrangements in the past have ranged from $75 to $250, depending on flower choice and quantity. |

These arrangements demonstrate how you can achieve alternating heights on tables by using different types of clear vases. At left, an arrangement sits in a hidden tray atop a slender crystal vase, while a similar arrangement at right rests atop a clear bubble bowl. Others are on a crystal tower, similar to those shown above and in the background of the picture at right, where the arrangement is in a hidden tray, flat on he table. Again, the setting can be enhanced with mirrors or a floral ring at the base or a scattering of petals with votives and colors can be keyed to the table setting. |

Lighting choices include floral rings surrounding a tea lamp (which can be provided by the hotel), a candle with hurricane globe or a large votive. The ring can be as full and exotic - and expensive - as the client desires through the choice of flower type and quantity. |

Or ... you can try an arrangement in clear glass container, filled with California Gel, and sitting on a light box which causes the glow that almost makes the arrangement appear to be floating above the table. (As shown about $62, with the light box, mirror and votives rental only.)

My choice for the classiest in lighted design would be the candelabra stand, with its votive candle holders aloft, and an arrangement like this which includes white Dendrobium stems cascading between the votives and a matching ring at the base.
Unfortunately, we only have a small number of these - six or eight - not nearly enough for the guest tables. However, they could be considered for high boys or cocktail tables.
This arrangement was $150. |

Many flowers offer beautiful lavender shades -- roses, tulips, ranunculus, snapdragons, hydrangea and lilies, to name a few. The Iris (at left) is Tennessee's State Flower, and sometimes can be obtained in a lavender shade. The classic lily arrangement shown above would be spectacular in the lavender mini-Calla along with a Stargazer variety that leans toward the lavender shades. |

We've added a few pictures of designs we enjoyed making in the past, and which easily could fit the Cotillion theme, including some large focal point buffet pieces. |
